Six days of festival: the Serenata on September 29, the Arraial on the 30th and four nights at the Praça da Canção venue, between tradition and the biggest names in Portuguese music. Doors open at 8pm.
Beyond the stages

The solemn opening at the Monumental Stairs, with the choir and guitars of Coimbra setting the tone for the week.
Oct 3 · 3pm
Pots, horns and pipes through the Alta: the freshmen make themselves heard, as the 19th-century tradition demands.
Oct 4 · 2pm
From the Alta down to the Mondego, with costumes designed by the seniors, satirical signs and tin cans on the ankles.
Oct 4 · 5pm
By the river, godparents baptise their godchildren with Mondego water and the faculty insignia are bestowed.
